Google connections

The Google consent screen calls our connection service Rivet Sources. You choose whether to connect YouTube or Google Analytics, grant read-only permission through Google, then select a channel or property you can access.

YouTube: Rivet uses YouTube API Services to read your channel identity, video titles and publication dates, and the view, like and comment counts returned by YouTube. It does not upload videos or post comments.
Google Analytics 4: Rivet reads your property names and time zones, and daily traffic by channel: sessions, active users, page and screen views, and engaged sessions. It does not change your Analytics settings.

Connected sources support manual and scheduled updates. Available data depends on your account permissions and the provider.

Your data and choices

Rivet stores imported data for your workspace and reports. When you ask for AI analysis, relevant workspace content is processed by our AI service provider. In customer workspaces, private sources and reports are not automatically shared with your team. Shared sources and published reports are visible to members permitted by their sharing settings.

You can pause supported sync schedules or disconnect a source in Rivet, and revoke Google's authorization in your Google account settings. Disconnecting stops future collection; it does not delete saved data. For saved-data deletion requests, contact info@rivetfields.com.
